Integrate Salesforce with AI agentswithout moving data out of your org
Vantegrate's AI agents work inside your Salesforce org: they read and write your standard objects, respect your profiles and permission sets, and log every conversation in real time. We have been a Salesforce partner since 2009, with apps that passed the Security Review.
How the data flows
What does it mean to integrate Salesforce with Vantegrate's AI agents?
Integrating Salesforce with Vantegrate's AI agents means that an agent, such as the sales agent that answers customers on WhatsApp, reads and writes directly in your org: it creates and updates leads, accounts and opportunities, checks live data and logs every interaction. The connection is native, over OAuth 2.0 and SAML, with no middleware that duplicates or drops records, and your data never leaves your Salesforce instance.
That is different from a bot that lives outside and pushes data in batches. Here the agent works from the same source of truth as your sales team, in real time and with the permissions you define. Vantegrate has been a Salesforce ISV and Consulting Partner since 2009, and its apps passed the Security Review, the strictest audit in the ecosystem.

What data moves between Vantegrate and your org
The agent works on your standard Salesforce objects with two-way, real-time sync: what happens in the conversation shows up in your org, and the data in your org feeds the conversation.
Leads, accounts and opportunities
The agent creates and updates records in your objects: a new lead from a chat arrives qualified, an opportunity moves to the next stage, an account gets its latest interaction.
Conversations and activity
Every chat is logged as an activity on the matching record, with its summary and campaign attribution, so nothing is left outside the CRM.
Only what you authorize
You decide which objects and fields each integration can read and write. Least-privilege access: no more and no less than the use case requires.
How the integration works, step by step
Vantegrate handles the setup and rollout. Your team reviews, approves and starts using it.
Review of your org
We review your objects, flows, existing integrations, permission model and compliance requirements.
Native connection
We connect over OAuth 2.0 and SAML to the standard Salesforce APIs. No workarounds, no fragile bridges and no admin credentials.
Least-privilege access
We define exactly what data the integration reads and writes, and then turn on two-way, real-time sync.
Validation with real data
We test with real data from your org, validate with your IT and compliance teams, and roll out in phases.
Native integration vs. a generic connector
Not every Salesforce integration works the same way. A generic connector usually copies data to an outside system, syncs in batches and writes the result back later, which brings delays, duplicates and stale records. A native integration works against the standard Salesforce APIs and respects its data model, profiles and permissions.
The difference shows up in daily operations: the agent checks the current state of a record before it answers, and the outcome of the conversation lands in your org right away, not on the connector's next run. That accuracy is what makes your team trust what it sees.
Access scope matters as much as speed. Attackers have used OAuth tokens stolen from a third-party chat integration to pull data out of Salesforce orgs, and Salesforce responded by revoking those tokens and removing the app from AppExchange (Google Threat Intelligence, 2025). That is why the integration asks only for scopes you can audit and revoke, never a blanket admin login.
| Dimension | Generic connector | Vantegrate native integration |
|---|---|---|
| Connection | External bridge with broad credentials | OAuth 2.0 and SAML, standard APIs |
| Sync | Batches, with delays | Two-way, real time |
| Data model | Parallel copy that drifts | Your standard objects, one source |
| Permissions | Broad access | Least privilege, defined by you |
| Audit | Limited or missing | Full traceability of every operation |
Comparison of integration patterns; the exact implementation is defined with your team for your org.
Your data never leaves your instance: the agent operates on your org with TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest, and every operation is logged and auditable. Data residency can be configured to meet your regulatory requirements.

An agent connected to your Salesforce vs. a standalone tool
| Standalone AI tool | Agent connected to your Salesforce | |
|---|---|---|
| Data source | A copy that drifts | Your source of truth, live |
| Where your data lives | In a third-party system | In your environment, encrypted end to end |
| Result of each operation | Stuck in another app | Written back to your Salesforce |
| Permissions and audit | Broad and hard to audit | Least-privilege scope and an audit trail |
| Reaching production | Often stalls as a pilot | Validated, phased rollout |

The principle is simple: AI comes to your data, not your data to the AI. The agents operate inside your Salesforce instance, with end-to-end encryption, least-privilege access and an auditable log of every operation.
- Native OAuth 2.0 and SAML connection, with no admin credentials and no fragile bridges.

Is it a native integration or an external connector?
It's native: it works against the standard Salesforce APIs and respects its data model, instead of copying your information to a parallel system that drifts. That's why the sync is two-way and real time, without the delays and duplicates of a generic batch connector.
How do I connect WhatsApp to Salesforce through Vantegrate?
How do I connect WhatsApp to Salesforce through Vantegrate?
The sales agent (Sellium) uses the WhatsApp Business Platform as its channel and the native integration with your org as its destination: every conversation is logged as a lead or opportunity, with its summary and campaign attribution. For US customers, keep in mind that Meta does not deliver WhatsApp marketing templates to +1 numbers (Meta), so the channel shines in conversations the customer starts. The details are in WhatsApp and Salesforce integration.
Does it work alongside Agentforce?
Does it work alongside Agentforce?
Yes. Vantegrate's agents use the same standard objects and APIs, so they work alongside Agentforce, your flows and your existing automations instead of replacing them, and each one keeps its own permissions and audit trail. If you're weighing both for WhatsApp, see Agentforce on WhatsApp.
Is Vantegrate a Salesforce partner?
Is Vantegrate a Salesforce partner?
Yes. Vantegrate has been a Salesforce ISV and Consulting Partner since 2009, and its solutions passed the platform's Security Review, the audit Salesforce requires before an app is published. The connection uses OAuth 2.0 / SAML and the native APIs, not a hand-built bridge.
Do I need to migrate data or replace Salesforce?
Do I need to migrate data or replace Salesforce?
No. Salesforce stays your system of record and your data keeps living there. The agent reads and writes through the API, the way a team member with permissions would, but without copying your database anywhere else. No migration, no double entry and no change to how your team works.
Do I need to install anything in Salesforce?
Do I need to install anything in Salesforce?
You don't need to install software on your computers or deploy anything inside Salesforce. The connection is authorized once from your account, with least-privilege permissions and traceability of every operation. Vantegrate handles the configuration; your team authorizes, validates and starts using it.
What happens to my data if I stop working with Vantegrate?
What happens to my data if I stop working with Vantegrate?
You revoke access and that's it. Because the agent never took your database, your information stays complete in your Salesforce account, including the conversations and records created along the way. No data of yours is held on our side that you would have to ask for back.
